Grad Gala will be held on MAY 14, 2027 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE SENIOR PROM AT Waterfront Marriott Downtown 11:30 PM TO 3:00 AM.
What is Grad Gala?
Grad Gala is an allocated budget line for the after prom party for each Class. This money is only used for Grad Gala ( which runs from 11:30 am- 2am). The Grad Gala is organized by a group of parents from the graduating class. Fundraising for this begins in freshman year. The cost of this ranges depending on what the parents wish to organize. It can cost $15K (Bowlero)cheapest up to $40 K ( at the Fairgrounds where they rent out a pavilion and have a casino theme). At the Grad Gala there are prizes for the students to win. The goal is to keep the students at this event to prevent them from going elsewhere and drinking and driving. Parents who volunteer for this must be PTSA members as the insurance protects them. You can imagine that the PTSA board does not have the time to plan this event for each class as we all work and volunteer to run the PTSA so we need parental help for this.
